Description

Convocation, an annual event on campus, welcomes the incoming College and Engineering classes to the Columbia community. This year, students in the Class of 2020 will become the newest members of the Columbia family following Convocation ceremonies on Monday, August 29.

A highlight of Convocation is the parade of students carrying the hundreds of colorful flags that represent every home state and country of the College and Engineering student body. We invite our Alumni to represent the Columbia College alumni community by marching in this inaugural procession and carrying your banner with fellow College alumni in your class's decade.

Monday, August 29
1:45 p.m. - Faculty and Alumni Reception, Butler Library, Room 214
2:30 p.m. - Alumni Procession, Butler Library
2:50 p.m. - Convocation Ceremony, Low Plaza

Alumni are welcome to come early to sign in and to have time to visit with friends, classmates and faculty members. Prior to the procession, at approximately 2:20 p.m., alumni will line up in Butler Library.

The procession will conclude around 2:45 p.m., at which time, participants and their guests may leave or move into reserved seating for the remainder of the festivities.

If you plan on staying for the Convocation ceremony, please select "Alumni Procession and Convocation Seating" as your ticket choice above.

We look forward to hearing from you and remain grateful, as always, for your continued support of the College.
